Diesel Mechanic

Position Summary:
We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated diesel mechanic to join our team.
The role will require being part of a team responsible for inspecting, servicing and repairing construction vehicles, hydraulic equipment, bucket trucks, cranes and even power generators. Your skills will be needed to diagnose faults as well as carry out the proper maintenance and overhauling of various types of diesel engines. All work shall adhere to the highest safety standards.
Responsibilities may include:
• Carry out thorough inspections of vehicle systems

• Identify mechanical issues by reading and interpreting diagnostic tests

• Follow checklists and examine critical parts

• Follow unit specific maintenance manuals for service intervals on aerial and other specialty equipment

• Diagnose engine fault codes, wiring diagnostics, air brake systems, exhaust filtration and regeneration systems

• Perform basic maintenance, including changing oil, checking fluid levels and tire quality

• Carry out in-depth repairs

• Repair or replace malfunctioning parts, including mechanical or electrical equipment

• Test-drive vehicles to ensure they work and run properly

• Be able to demonstrate job skills, procedures and techniques to other team members

• Maintain a clean, safe and organized work space
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position you must possess the following skills, attributes, and abilities:
• ASE certification
• 3-5 years experience as a diesel mechanic
• Interest and desire to expand your personal knowledge base to grow into other areas of the company
• Preferred Class A commercial driver’s license
• Knowledge of safety policies, regulations, and a demonstrated record of excellent safety habits
• Willing to submit to a pre-employment background screening
• High School Diploma or GED preferred

Project Coordinator

Position Summary:
We are seeking a professional and personable team member to join the company as Project Coordinator. The role will require being part of a team responsible for planning, organizing, tracking and executing electrical construction projects throughout New England.
Responsibilities:
The following is a list of the major responsibilities of the Project Coordinator:
• Working with the Project Manager and team to develop and distribute daily/weekly schedules
• Reviewing Daily Project Updates with the Project Manager and making adjustments as necessary
• Interacting with skilled contractors working in the field
• Processing high volumes of information; multi-tasking; thinking critically and creatively
• Producing project submittals and Request For Information (RFI)
• Working jointly with other disciplines (senior management, accounting, facilities, field personnel) to maximize effectiveness
• Working with cities, towns, municipalities on permitting and Dig Safe documentation
• Following up on deliveries and purchase order tracking
• Tracking project completion and closeout documentation
• Support team in creating and tracking Change Orders
Qualifications:

• Required
o Excellent organizational, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
o Excellent oral and written communication skills
o Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 products
o 2-5 years experience as an Administrative Assistant/Project Coordinator/Assistant Project manager in a related field
o Reliable transportation to commute to our offices each day
• Recommended
o College/University Degree in a related field
o Trade experience
o Ability to read and understand construction drawings
o Working knowledge of the construction process
